I thought that the triangles on arrows and such were just so that you couldn't pull them out without suffering extreme pain.

I thought that the triangles on arrows and such were just so that you couldn't pull them out without suffering extreme pain. I was taught by my seventh grade history teacher (and also realistically eigth grade) that the reason they were triangular was because once you were hit by a triangular blade, you would get a triangular wound which would've gotten infected and was also extremely difficult to patch up and heal.

Well that doesn't make sense but you can have your opinion. I still say that bayonets are near useless for more developed countries that can afford better weapons.

Every soldier in any countries are issued close quarter weapons, like knifes. But they did not teach them to charge with their knifes attached to rifles. They teach them to shoot from distance and only use your knifes if the enemy got close. This is not Napoleonic War or World War I anymore.

@thelaststandsoldier you are getting really political these days which "I" think..... why don't people double-think that what will the consequences be if their polls go in the wrong direction? My above statement applies to this poll too... People, remember we are a gaming forum not a political one saltin this presentation part of the forum needs a bit cleaning I suppose...

Yes, this board is awfully political nowadays and I might just have to do a purge of many of the polls and posts in it.
