I have noticed the lack of a female general or commander in wc4, not that I know of any, but I did some research in a local library(due to me not having an internet connection before i reached home), and also checked it up online later, and it seems that there has not been any female general at all during the period of WW2, only notable squadrons and individuals. Does anyone know of any, since it would be interesting to have not always male generals in wc4. Thought some terrorist generals in wc4 were female but it was ambiguous and I passed them off as males.

Well I presume there were many female abd young commanders in the Eastern part of Europe. A Bosnian 12 year old boy in ww1 was known as the youngest or one of the youngest soldiers of the war. And the Yugoslav partisans have had female commanders and they respected the other women as they were key cogs in the partisan endavour. Treating their wounds, cleaning, cooking etc. I dont really think there are many female ww2 commanders, but I can say is that the Partisans took the 8th of March, Womens Day, really seriously. But the female world has many important warriors throughout ww2. Katharina Jacob, Mariya Oktyabrskaya, the members of the Night Witches, and many snipers, nurses and furthermore.

Women were not allowed to join the Army in most countrys. Up around the 1960s or 1970s Israel allowed females to join the ranks. Before the 1990s early 2000th, women where not allowed as combatants (frontline troops) in most countrys. As example, in 2005 the German government allowed females to join the infantry. So to finding a female general in the 1930/40s is quit impossible. The Russian female units of WWII are for most part used as propaganda tools to boost moral (but even Russia didn't allowed females to join the frontline troops).

Tito, Clausewitz, thank you for the information, yes it does make historical sense for this limitation. Would be cool if ET adds female terrorist generals for the 1980 conquest and campaigns in a new(or perhaps there may never be until wc5 hehe) update.
