Hello, this is my first post. I'm a bit new on the game (idk if you call 3 weeks as new or not) and have problems capturing cities, making me unable to finish conquest in less than 80 turns. However, i already won the conquest - once with Germany, 3 times with Romania, and once with Hungary. I'm seeking for '43 in order to get atom to get PMI. Here are my stats on generals and tech: GENERALS- Meyer
- Free General
- Panzer Ability - 2 ; the rest, except marching ability - 1;
- Defense Tactic Lv.1
- Sergeant (35 HP)
- Free General
- Un-upgraded
- Artillery Leader Lv.1; Plain Fighting Lv.1
- Corporal (25 HP)
[li]Free General - Completely Un-upgraded[/li][/ul]
TECHInfantry - 4 Artillery - 1 Armored - 1 Fortress - 3 Fleet - 1 Air Force - 2 Supply - 2 Anti-Air - 3 Rest of them are locked (Lv.13) Any ideas? Attachments:

How many medals co you have? You should sell the eye-covered generals (as we call them) I think, making a good eye-covered general costs in thousands...

And if i sell it, could i get a fresh new one? you can sell them and get an un-upgraded general If you save some more you can buy Badoglio, he has great output and mobility If not then get Meyer for tanks(cheap tank general) Or Chung for Artillery (very cheap) Greim is also good (4 stars in air) Or Ozawa for navy+airforce Or you can check this european-war-4.boards.net/thread/866/attention-new-players-generals

Oh, thank you very much! People in this forum are very nice and are very rule-abiding.

Generals: I don't know what the others think about, but if I am you, I'll sell all of them for Badoglio. Unlike the others, I really don't like using not strong generals for beginning. Then I'll buy Ozawa/King/Greim for a cheap air.
Cracking Cities: You are in 1939 conquest, right? Try to use a lot of Motorized Infantry to attack cities. If you feel tough in Europe, use airstrike and groups of Field Artillery.

And if you like playing conquests, upgrading units at your HQ is important since you are using non-general units most of the time.

For 1939 I normally prepare a city with alot of artillery and then push into it with tanks. After conquering it I leave my infantry there.

for conquering in the late game I just surround the city with motorized infantry and have a field artillery there in case they decide to spawn something there
