I only have 4 slots available and they are all full, I have Scharnhorst, Dobeln, Oudinot, and Golitsyn, with Isabella, Kate, and Sakurako as available princesses. I'm wondering if I should make any changes to my lineup and if I should swap one of my generals for a princess, specifically switching Scharn for Isabel. My Scharn has +150, +6, and is a 5 star artillery, and if you do suggest I change the lineup, who would I regroup to who, so I can get a free slot. First thread by the way.

Swap Oudinot/Dobeln (up to your tactics) for Isabela. You certainly don’t need two infantry gens

Based on the 3 general analyses, Döbeln is typically better than Oudinot. However, while Döbeln is capable of ensuring consistent dmg regardless of HP, Oudinot is able to ensure that inf defensive structures/bonuses like Trenches and City Def bonus are ignored. Based on experience of other players, if you are willing to buy IAP, buy 1-2 more gen slots so that you can keep 1 slot for trainers and 1 for end-game gens like Lan, while bypassing the 4 gen constraints.

Buying three or four open slots will be the best money you'll ever spend in this game. It's a trifling amount for a lasting benefit in terms of flexibility.
I held out for the longest time and ended up regrouping one of my princesses (Fatimah) before finally doing the sensible thing. It was a mistake I regret and I wish I could take it back.
