Heres how to beat the Aliens - conquer the world

I just won - 98 turns, conquer the world, with England. 400 medals.
1) Be England. They are ideal since they start with a carrier and have 3 ports that can build carriers.
2) Build a carrier swarm, you will need like 30 before its all over. Carriers are key since they will do damage without retaliation or gold/oil cost. Also long range.
3) Use 4-5 AIR FORCE generals on carriers. Not NAVY. Carriers in this game are part of the air force. Navy skil
ls are useless. Guys like general Arnold are the best - Marching skill and Air force. You can test this yourself, use the German generals Goring and Doenitz, put them each on a carrier and attack. Goring will do more damage every time.
4) The last general use on the super tank and take London (and leave him there to defend London in a super-tank - he should have both tank and air force skills, like Eisenhower), and kill the alien shooter thing ASAP. Those things have like 700 HP and take a while to kill but you have to kill them first.
5) Do not attack cities with your carrier swarm, use nukes/paratroopers. The swarm is for killing the alien units that will beeline towards you. They have no air defense. You should be killing 1-2 every turn with enough carriers.
6) Alien weaknesses - They seem strong, but have no air defense and leave cities unprotected. 1 lone paratrooper can take like 3 cities over the course of 30 turns. Pay attention to weak cities and build up your gold income ASAP, be agressive.
Thats it - just build up your carrier swarm, defend at first and expand when possible into Spain then the USA. Overland is harder, use super-tanks and paratroop spam. but I went through the USA to Japan and finished in Austrailia. Good luck guys!
