Well, EW6 is a good game, but I still hope that their new game will be interesting as well. In my opinion, EW6 is better than EW4 (at least in some respects), and WC4 is better than WC3. So, I am an optimist  . Hope so. EW6 is way better simply because You are not limited with the quantity of gens You can use playing as great power. So to use Your shiny team You need to play minor country only  However EW4 was also great. P.S.: Never liked tanks, machine guns and other WWI stuff in EW4. Same in EW6 but at least it is way more difficult to start its production in EW6. It is better to expand Napoleonic era content rather than adding WWI stuff imo. WWI is quite serious conflict and it is not very good to cover it with one campaign in the addon imo. the connection between napoleon and ww1 is bigger than you think, it might even be nice to show this connection in ew6. The bridge between Napoleon and WW1 is the French Prussian War in which Prussia and the other German states attacked France in 1870 under the leadership of Moltke and Bismarck. after the victory, napoleon III was deposed as the monarch of france and germany united. this led to a resentment of the french against the new german empire. and Moltke's nephew was coincidentally also the supreme commander of Germany in WW1. easy tech could add ww1 to ew6 but then they would have to add a mission / conquest for the prussian french war and two or more conquests for ww1. they would have to ensure that the player and AI make other units in 1900 and perhaps make more upgrades for trenches and forts so that in 1914 this would lead to a 50% damage reduction. |

Yeah, I am fond of history But see no any connection between Napoleonic wars and WWar I. Napoleonic wars are the wars against Revolutionary France (and further Napoleonic France). European Monarchs were afraid (firstly Holy Roman Empire) of the revolutionary ideas and its expansion with French force. Reasons of the WWI is united Germany and its place among World colonial powers. Imperialistic War. Reasons are completely opposite |

Yeah, I am fond of history But see no any connection between Napoleonic wars and WWar I. Napoleonic wars are the wars against Revolutionary France (and further Napoleonic France). European Monarchs were afraid (firstly Holy Roman Empire) of the revolutionary ideas and its expansion with French force. Reasons of the WWI is united Germany and its place among World colonial powers. Imperialistic War. Reasons are completely opposite It's not about the reasons for the war but germany was united because of the napoleontisch wars, you could make a bridge between the two main wars with the french prussian war a war with commanders Who are already in the game and the time gap between these two wars is realy small the von schlieffen plan was made around that time. |

Wars of the 18th century technologically and reasonably are much closer to Napoleonic Wars than WWI that's true, Why ww1 because I would like to see a game about it and because most people do see the connection between ww1, WW2 and modern day but many historians see the napoleonic wars as the start of the modern era. And Why not the other was of the 19th and 18th century? They could be add to but I'm talking about the rough line to make it from napoleon to ww1. The biggest problem I see in my plan is if easytech would add trench warefare the would buff skills like battle arrey and Suchet is the only golden gen with that skill wich meant they would buff Suchet!! |

I agree it would be a Shame if ww1 is just a small part of a game, but I was thinking about a big part and yes they would need to change some skills or make a new trench Who isn't affected by the mighty Suchet  And yes ew3 was fun but it's old and you need to wait hours for one turn. |

There is an excellent WW1 mode, made by one Russian guy. It is possible to download it in our "Modes" section. It may not be especially difficult to my taste, but it was a very creative approach. The problem is i'm using iOS So I'm waiting for a official release |
