A quite simple question I've had since the reveal of rome, what will the front page look like when it is fully released? and what game sub-forum will be squished together like european war 4 and 5? or will there be any games squished? I suppose this is a weird question that doesn't really matter but, it's one I ponder over like with other games that's been released.

I expect it to be 3 sepetate boards just like WC4/EW6/WC3. I don't think any games will be merged. Then again, nothing has been decided, so who knos.

Hi Colonel James E. Ross, the main banner of the front page of the forum has traditionally been designed by one of our members in a popular vote/submission type contest, so we probably going to go that route eventually. Nothing has been decided as far as combining boards (if any), we usually only change the format of the forum if there is a very good reason for it. Having said that I am open for any suggestions you might have. Finally note that there is a major forum software update that's coming down the pipeline from ProBoards called Phoenix V6 and that will radically alter the look and feel and usability of our forum but that should be much later on compared to the release date of the new game.

I'm guessing nothing since Proboards has promised their V6 since like 2 years ago. If it didn't came out so far, why would it come out now all of the sudden.

PB isn't a huge company so they are slow at releasing new versions.
There is no official ETA atm but the new version is in working order atm, I am alpha testing atm, I am not too crazy about it to be honest, it is going to be radically different than what we are used to but it does have some major benefits for our community so that's always good.
We will be adding an additional board or two to [Rome:Great Conqueror] soon.
