(please give your rating of techs to improve this and future tabs. appreciated.)
Explanation:
Green nodes imply highest significance in the current tree-floor. Blue nodes imply significance between highest and lowest in current tree-floor, such that nodes below this level are not more significant. Red nodes imply significance lowest of all nodes in current tree-floor.
Similarly, Green, Blue, and Red connections mean connections ending at a node of equal color/significance to the connection.
NOTE: this tree does not take into account nodes that are significant due to their proximity to open other nodes.

acridbrimistic, wonderful guide again! Just to chirp in, considering the high cost of tech tree upgrades and the fact that you are only able to move up a tree by buying up the adjacent branches first, prioritizing which tech tree to invest in first is noteworthy as well. Here is my suggested order, having completed the tech tree in Jan and found out what worked well: Aircraft, Artillery, Infantry, Tanks, Navy, Anti-Air, Nuclear/missiles, Forts. Having the paratrooper max range early is one of the most important upgrades in the game, where it could save you some travelling distance, enable you to knock out cities or enemies faster, opening up new fighting fronts quick and distracting enemy units more efficiently. Rest are just health/damage upgrades which artillery and infantry stands to benefit most by. Getting the 80%/100% and 100% for artillery and tanks respectively is also another crucial upgrade.Of course one would not be able to upgrade all immediately, so pace yourself and upgrade them one by one across all tech trees.

IMO, missile, fort and anti air tech should be the last which you start to upgrade. Why? The other tech have a more direct tactical impact and most of the time, players will rely more on the others as opposed to these 3.

Harry Lillis "Bing" Crosby Jr, I'm only here because my finished WC3 save file was lost for some reason. Either way I quit WC3 so I'm coming here now. I'm not really close to finishing the game at all, I just started a few days ago. Thanks for the advice! I'll adjust the images when I have time.

But... The abilities are sold separately. They are useful, sure but the fact that you unlock it separately, often for more price, makes the abilities more ehh.

Try building at least most of the discount wonders before making major tech upgrades.

Well, yeah, that’s possible. But the discount wonders are mostly cheap and they can save you some resources.

Also, who doesn’t upgrade the hp for infantry. Aren’t they already bad enough? That’s due to the fact that there are tanks. In EW6, Infantry, especially Grenadiers and higher, are awesome due to the lack of large amounts of Mechanized units.
