National Technology, Map Strategy and Blessing concepts Blessing looks very tempting to use it in conquests. I think ET made a mistake in EW6 with the technology in conquests. It's way too expensive. There is no any reason to spend resources to receive marginal upgrade. Hope technology/blessing tree will be balanced much better if compared to EW6. I mean resource wise

I agree with andrei. Unless you needed or really wanted a National Technology upgrade, they seem to be overpriced upgrades that only add value at endgame, especially for 1812 and 1815. Since Military Tactics is here in the form of Strategy, Blessings seems like a new addition to ET's games. It looks like Military Tactics, but I bet that its effects are slightly different.

It looks like Military Tactics, but I bet that its effects are slightly different. yup new features always receive praise from players, but after awhile whether it stays favoured depends on its suitability in mid to end game.

I love the artwork for the legionary in the first image.
I wonder if the blessings differ based on country or if its all the same. Either way, adding religion to the games is an interesting turn that I'm quite curious to see. As someone who loves european and asian folk religions, I really hope it doesn't end up being a divisive subject, as it often can be.
