Just a few map screenshots to see how the terrain and game looks like. First is the conquest map, gfx look somewhat basic but terrain is easily recognizable, there are as couple chests in the UI with one of them labelled as [Inventory]. We can see the 3 different eras that we can play in: [The Punic Wars], [Caesar Time] and finally [Augustus Time] the last of which is still a work in progress also clearly there is also room for future additions. Below we see a sample conquest screen with the relevant details, the number 11 by the helmet might represent the max general allowed and the 6 might be the starting number of cities for that particular conquest nation. The reward appears to be both gold and medals although in another screenshot the medal reward for the Rome faction was zero, so most likely the medals are only gained the first time we win that particular conquest in a similar fashion as previous Easytech titles. An interesting item in the last pic is the [AUTO] button in the upper right corner, so it appears we will have to auto-play some or all of the conquests. I also really like how they displayed the different construction areas in the strategic map, we can clearly see the various part of the city as well as what looks like wonders/unique buildings like the Colosseum.

Based on the image on the top centre on the last screenshot, there seems to be a population count which has been exceeded. We can expect population to return.

Definitely not too crazy about the cap units based on population but I guess it's just something we are going to have to get used to. Btw I am so glad you posted because you just broke the board icons structure and that's a bug that I wasn't aware off till now. K I am back out to fix this

No medal for replaying conquest.. Well, seems like the game will have WC3 and EW5 system. Daily missions as main medal earning source. Doubt it is a good idea. EW6 has much better balance.

My only hope it is not like WC4 And we don't need to earn every medal with sweat and blood... I actually understand because I like EW6's Daily stuff more than WC4's (and I play both right now). After a while, the Daily Battles get repetitive and feels like a chore to earn medals. Once you start to forget to play them, you'll probably only focus on the Daily Missions from then on. Besides, since the visible player resources seems to be Money/Gold/Coins and Medals for now, a EW6 approach seems feasible.

On the first picture, there is a tab on the bottom right labelled, "Senate" and "Lvl 16". We can expect that this is not the way to HQ since HQ screens are never gated. I also do not recall Domination (WC4) and Challenges (EW6) being gated as well. So now the question is, what is the Senate?

abd it is a fairly useful tool that they announce the rewards of conquests too, in wc4 players just play the conquest and can only find out the rewards at the end of it.

Im assuming the senate is going to be sorta like governmental missions like you get in Total War games... or
They've added domestic politics, which would be insanely interesting. Granted you'd think they would showcase that in the trailer, so its doubtful.

In last pic,we can see that large cities, such as Rome, are not conquered as one but perhaps need to be taken as districts, a more realistic city siege unlike any other ET games thus far.
