Something I noticed in the trailer was this: I don't know how common this is, but it seems that at least for some campaigns you can choose which side you want your troops to be at the start.

Interesting. A return of ET's old campaign style.
In EW3, you get to pick which belligerent you want to be. In EW4, some campaigns offer the choice of which side to fight for *AHEM* HRE campaign, but they are only a limited few.
Recently, none of the games allowed for this. I wonder how will his turn out?

As usual, whatever side you choose there will be a great disadvantage

Ahh nice catch, I didn't noticed that choice. I like it because it gives the game more depth and extend game play since most players will eventually play both sides.
