Hi all,
I hope you guys can give me some advise... Ionly have anti-alien campaigns left and only finished conquer world against aliens with United Kingdom.. Main focus will be fighting aliens with artillery/air/paratropers..
I notice a lot of fans at this forum of Govorov... I agree totally... however, its level (and health) is only L Colonel...
My general list:
Art:
1. Manstein (bought 2day)
2. Govorov
3. Badoglio
tank:
1. Guderian
2. Patton
Naval/air
1. Yamamoto
2. Goring

With Manstein, you will still have 2 artillery generals so I would sell Badoglio to promote Guvorov if it's really an issue.

Nothing is really an issue ofc..
Maybe there are really 2 underlying questions
1. do people promote govorov?
2. do people use badoglio in this end state game?

It is reccomended to have 2 artillery generals. Since you have Manstein and Guvorov, there is no need for Badoglio. You already have good generals so selling Badoglio to improve Guvorov is a good choice. |

His initial health is too low. But since he is artillery general, promoting him to max is not necessary (unless you have a lot of medals, that is). I would say promoting him to M.General or L.General is enough. Mine is L.General and I have never seen him die. 2) I have never used Badoglio myself but I think he should be useful against aliens so I would keep him for that situation. Anyway, you can still use him for completing yellow missions which yield you a good sum of industry resource. So if I were you I would keep him in my HQ unless I am in a serious need to medals. |

I promoted Govorov to M General and I must say he is extremely good in 1939 & 1943 + Alien. Not much better in 1950 & 1960 because of the nukes,
So yes, promote him to at least M General
