Well, I know three languages and am currently learning French(I chose the language because of my obsession with French history and the Napoleonic wars). It’s been a year since I started and I guess I’ve made some progress.. I plan to learn either Spanish or German next.

ah I am currently learning German via Duolingo now in my spare time. Free and fun, I feel German is a very fun language to pick up but is pretty tough with all its masculine/feminine verbs and terms. As the German proverbs go: Deutsch Sprache, schwere Sprache, es ist noch kein Meister vom Himmel gefallen! Ah, I remember the time of my school days, when I used to mug up all sorts of masculine/feminine verbs a couple of days before the exam. The good thing was, the modules were specified differently for eatables, transport vehicles and other stuff. Wow an average of 4 languages - this is a lot - a high level in this board and I am curious which 3 users can't speak English? Deutsche Sprache schwere Sprache: Masculine verbs? I think you mix conjugation and declination. German grammar is like Latin. You can't learn perfect German as second language.

If I were to learn a language right now it would be Spanish though. I would simply do it by learning Grammar on tutorial sites, than use Anki to learn vocabulary and especially, read a lot. Don't do duolingo though, it's quite inefficient I hate that Duolingo does not teach grammar.

Hindi, fair enough, but seriously I have a lot of work to do. I honestly recommend for 90% of those languages to just study English etymology.

im leanrin my native language ojibway i wish i leanred at a young age Personally, I knew many Ojibwe folk, as I used to live in Minnesota, but I see no reason to learn the language. It seems like a lot of work for something with trivial use.
