I refuse to buy Crassus after how he did my boi Spartacus. Have you no honor! I gave him 1 star (actually a 5!) because of that. #spartacusgangunite

Crassus? Sir Crompey issues a challenge! Sir Abercrombie fits better his natural good look. Crassus’ counterattack and his additional 10% crit rate will be hard to overcome, but the extra inf star, pf, and the extra aura from the gallicus armor will see Sir Crompey prevail

Maybe he would destroy anything with a golden spear , but I feel that "Octavian helm" or what it is called , would balance more the high doses of steroids I gave to him . He could become immortal .

Thats good. He should have insane crit damage.

So right now I have a cavalry focused commander, Pacorus I, Pompey, and Mithridates VI. Crassus looks like THE MAN for conquest with that spicy +36 dmg to cities, that amazing skill March, Tunnel, and great stats. I’m thinking of either getting him or Antony the hedgehog, but I already have 2 cav at the moment.
Thoughts?

IMO, Crassus is a safer bet when it comes to Blitzing through enemy cities due to his city-cracker skill (Siege). Plus, I prefer a balanced line-up and hiring Crassus does just that. Considering that we would normally find 2 starting inf units more frequently than 3 starting cav units, having 2 inf gens is better than 3 cav gens right now.

Or do what I did and make your free commander into an infantry fortcracker Counterattack is a great skill on intantry as well. He is one of the best infantry generals.

Crassus or vercingetorix? Vecingetorix is a very passive and defensive inf gen compared to Crassus. However, Vecingetorix can take some hits and still deal reasonably high dmg due to his talent. Crassus is more of an anti-city and anti-garrison gen who is useful in cracking cities in Conquest as well. As Crassus is more practical, I encourage you to invest in him

Józef Poniatowski, Crassus is really good, better than ver, although, he isnt better than the undisputed god of inf (pompey)
