Józef Poniatowski, Crassus is really good, better than ver, although, he isnt better than the undisputed god of inf (pompey) Imo Vercingetorix is better than Crassus but both and arguably Pompey are inferior to Spartacus.

Ver is extremely slow. Crassus is a far better fort cracker than either of the 3 mentioned. He is also good at defending captured cities. Crassus with the siege flag will deal upwards of around 250 damage when given a battering ram and a legionaire

From personal experience, it seems like the best build for a general is:
1. A commander skill (attacking twice is a huge advantage) 2. Plain Fighting: + 16/20 extra damage consistently is a massive buff. Jungle Fighting Likewise will be 20/25 extra damage. Cheaper too. 3, Advantage/Roar/Assualt: Amazing for one on one combat 4. Pick one of the following: Siege, March, Guerilla, Shield Wall, Charge

Change tunnel for march, infrantry need speed You can't change the skills that comes with a named gen like Crassus. Only those on your Commander.

Change tunnel for march, infrantry need speed Crassus has march, his other skills are tunnel, siege, and counterattack. If counterattack was replaced by roar infantry commander or a terrain bonus, crassus would be the best general ever pretty much

He sucks. While he might seem good, his skills don't go at all, Infantry Tactics, Counterattack and March are for gens who are good at combat, which he is not. Tunnel is replaceable with War Gear. Siege is his only useful skill, but seriously, get Commius or Sertorius for less medals! The only thing he is good at is being a pain in the rear to kill, and even then, I would prefer to fight him than, say, Labenius, Cassius, or Bato, or even Pacorus. If you use him as a city sieger, he has 1 and 1/2 useful skills, maybe a talent. If you use him as a combat general, he has 2 useful skills and a talent. And they want to get 550 medals? Ha! He was my second general, and that was one of the worst mistakes I have made in this game. You want a good cav city cracker, get Commius. You want an excellent infantry who can Crack cities? Get Sertorius. Better yet, make a useful version of him out of your commander. But he isn't worth your very limited medals.

He's my 2nd Inf general right after my Commander (I have Verci, Pompey and Spartacus). With gram and ram he can blow away blank city by 1 hit in almost case. Very useful general. Sertorius and Commius don't have March. There is another way I use him is putting him nearby city and let counter attack and tunnel work.

how does crassus get high morale all the time in DB pompey is grinding units left and right mostly ends up with negativ morale bc number of enemy attacks but crassus just walks around and gets high morale by turn 2. xD its hilarious. idk does he have sth hidden that lets him target low health units and grind for morale?
