I'm not ahead in conquest , my friend . I completed the first era and I've played as Pompey , Pontus and Egypt in conquest 2. Then I played another 3 countries that I don't remember in conquest 3... I have Scipio , Mithridates, Pacorus I , Pompey and the Plumber. At the moment I'm upgrading Scipio in skills and I want to save up for golden spear. Then I'll give Augustus helmet to Pompey or maybe to the free general . I think I'm done with generals (even if I'd like a third cavalry) , because campaigns are all 3 stars and I don't need more guys. You know man , I find conquest boring , but I really enjoyed playing with Rome-Pompey . Now , share with me your knowledge. Nice. I actually found conquests boring at first. Now I really like playing them as some countries are really easy, and its a good way to both get medals and train your generals. I completed punic wars as every country, and like half way done with the caesar time conquests. Barely touched the octavian one. I’d say you could probably get the golden spear really quickly. Your team is pretty solid, and a spear would be a good idea. I would probably add Pedius to your team, as he is rather impressive for 95 medals. If you grind long enough honestly, you’ll get the hang of conquest. Basically its about building tier 5 cities, putting your generals on good units, and both bribing the neutral countries that haven’t joined, and keeping the other scummy neutral countries from joining against you. Fun fact is that I never pay to don't enter the war any country (because I'm broke since the beginning) . I only bribe , but my allies are always too much dumb , they seem to play with their butts! At first I wanted to switch Pompey for Crassus , but I did not . I feel that we'll se many new heroes in the upcoming future Btw I'll try Pedius , (the lite Crassus ?) .thanks

Sorry , I confused Pedius with Pinarius . The moral drop is a good strategy (a malevolent one )

Crassus is a great city cracker, but trading pompey for him is ridiculous. Pedius is an archer general who has terrible skills, but has the talent rumor. He’ll make a pretty substantial difference in a team enviroment. Plus there are always generaless archer units that you start with, making pedius a convenient choice. Don’t enter the war countries are not worth paying for. However, the actually neutral countries such as illyria and mauretemia are. As they stay permanently, they make huge contributions in conquest

Very good. Got as third general and made him full infantry. I constantly forget to place him on plains but that doesn't matter when he will just preform well almost all the time.

I actually think that Crassus is the best non iap infantry general now ironically (I used to think he sucked). He is pompey except trade inf commmander shield wall and plains for siege tunnel and counterattack. Crassus trades percentage based skills which are not guaranteed to trigger for potentially 85 extra damage against cities. Counterattack likewise is also very good as Crassus will have good defensive abilities while on land or at sea. Pompey like Crassus and Vercingetorix (w. a military map) is also really good.

When you take credit for other people’s work (Spartacus, Sertorius, Mihredates) and get an a, but a really hard final comes along and you don’t know anything

Hey look, it’s an infantry general that I field on every conquest and every campaign! I don’t think I’ve done that since WC3 with Zhang L.F. when I had no idea what I was doing.
Ok but seriously. He, along with Crassus, are the best infantry generals in the game by far because they both fight well and they’ve got March. Pompey fights better while Crassus sieges better. They’re probably better than Spartacus even because Spartacus doesn’t have March.

The auras don’t stack, but the ambit increases and it affects allied inf, too. With a cartage Spartacus makes decent 4steps with heavy inf or legionary, for swordsmen Caligae is enough. For more even Pompey needs move items. Other than Pompey and Crassus he also has Intercept against annoying archers.

Blocking? He has. Mobility ?? awesome. Damage?? Needless to say he has a tremendous amount of damage with talent and infantry commander. Pompey is a great champion. Furthermore, his navy stack is quite good
