Arminius is ideal for campaigns. Anthony is the god of conquest. Surena, using his urban warfare skill, is good at sitting at home and doing absolutely nothing Are you talking with Scipio , mah boaih?!?!?! I bet you favor him over Hannibal

Have you ever been annoyed by killing a unit in a city but not being able to finish it off? Ever finding yourself needing a forced march a turn? Do you want ridiculous mobility, crossing all of Asia Minor in one turn? Do you simply want a good cavalry general? Then Antony is the guy for you. For the low low price of 628 medals you can get him! Enjoy 13 mobility with your heavy cavalry! And an extra 4500 coins for Cartage you can get two more mobility! WOW! That's a lot of speed! And look at these reviews! Guy 1: Good Guy 2: Fast Guy 3: Expens - I mean great! Get Antony as a general, now! Side effects may include: Mistapping, Nervous sweating as Antony charges into the entire enemy army, becoming poor, chills, shaking, forgetting rivers exist, etc.

Antony stops at a non-allied troop after moving few hexes into the FoW.

Without Guerilla and Assault, Anthony’s attack isn’t as spectacular as Hannibal, Arminius or Huo. I still recommend him as first Cav, second when you have Hannibal. Because FoW, moving 7 hex alone into the unknown is gambling. The biggest advantage from March plus Geo is IMO he can always surround an enemy, or capture a city when all other besieger cant move anymore. So Forced March can be used for other units. Anthony’s speed is also great to reach a military camp to replenish or to catch up with the main force when deployed far from the frontline.
His talent combined with speed is unique and priceless and can only be replaced by a cav commander build with Gallic War.

Only other cav commanders are he who shall not be mentioned and Varus. None of them have march, and Varus has significantly worse stars than Anthony. Only other mark anthony’s are the commander and hannibal. But even then, most of us will give Hannibal the Laurel Crown.

Yes, I forgot to mention Cav comm and charge make him strong enough, especially against infantry. I never regretted to buy him.

I think I gave him the pink rating as there isn’t really another general like anthony in the game.

Unless you make commander a cav oriented, but true, only that can get near antony’s stats is huo, tiberius or commius.

Although critizing him, I think I'll get him next to replace Huo in some campaigns where I need to reach a city or kill a few weak enemies for objectives. However I don't think he can do much alone.
