Hello.
What difference is between infantry, cavalry and archers? Which unit is the best to storm cities? What siege equipment is the best?

The best units to siege cities are any units with war gear.
War gear are the catapults, ballistae, rams, and siege towers you can see behind your units in the campaign.
You can buy war gear at a military camp, there will be a little button with a hammer on it when you select the tile. Press this and it will allow you to build the different siege engines.
You can also research upgrades to these engines via the little green circle in the top left corner next to your economy display. These upgrades make the engines more effective at their task.
For the actual units involved, i would suggest archers with either a catapult or siege tower. These two will do a lot of damage to the enemy walls while your archers kill the defenders, only taking damage if the defenders are archers too.
For a cheap and effective unit, against an unguarded city infantry with a battering ram will be able to destroy the walls of outer structures in 1 hit, but if there are defenders the battering ram doesn’t help and will only damage the walls

Archers are your ranged attackers, when they attack they will only take damage from other archers and have a slight advantage at killing light armor cavalry. They will take a lot of damage when attacked by the enemy, however.
Infantry is the unit with the best defense value, which makes them take less damage from attacks. They also get a slight advantage when fighting archers, but have problems fighting cavalry.
Cavalry is the most expensive unit, and has the best mobility. Cavalry also gets the ability to move after destroying an enemy, making them the best for cleaning up low health units and decisively changing the battle very quickly. They have more defense than archers but less than infantry, and you need to be careful when attacking enemies with them as they are less forgiving of wrong moves than the other two.
Early game archers are best, as they will always do good damage and can attack without taking damage, making them easy to use.
