No he isn't even the best archery Mithrates IV or Arminius seem like good picks. Octavian does look pretty good in my opinion, but I haven’t gotten too far into the game yet. |

Mithrates IV or Arminius seem like good picks. Octavian does look pretty good in my opinion, but I haven’t gotten too far into the game yet. Mithridates VI is the best archery gen I think, arminius the best cav octavian is the second best archery I like cavalry a lot so far. They do massive heaves of damage and have massive health. Not to mention the 60% chance to attack again and cavarly master. Archers on the otherhand take no return fire unless fighting other archers. But they don’t really have any damage bonuses against cavalry from where I see. |

Refunds are 95 %, so i'd say it's fine to buy anyone you deem useful. You can just sell them back later
