Might be the best navy commander in the game, and a top navy/archer hybrid.

The only archers better than her also cost > 200 medals than her.

The only archers better than her also cost > 200 medals than her. The rank does the trick, though. Octavian and Co. are two ranks higher and that is more than 200 medals...

I don't think that we need to hire her as a field general and to compare to Octavian and other archers. In fact I don't think navy gens (with navy talents) can be called hybrids. As soon as we have no specific navy units, we need to assign navy gen to one of the field, but to use in the sea only, as in that case they will benefit from both abilities. They could be really really powerful. The only question is how often shall we need to fight in the Sea, besides attacking the cities on the shore.

Isn't a land unit in the Sea counted as a naval unit, without any land bonuses?

I am getting the game once it is free, so I have time to chart up options for my first general, and I struck a gold mine immediately with this one.

She is very good ,and compared to octavian (archer general) the difference is small, apart cleopatra is more cheap and the best navy general in the game, she is usefull in conquest and i expect she would be useful in future campaigns and expeditions.

I have to agree, she really shines in expeditions as she is truly the best navy hybrid, and when it decides to throw you a navy battle (or more precisely, you decide to fight a navy battle) she can single-handedly carry the battle for your team, and can be a decent archer general as well

I think that Marshal is the best rank. Basically the difference between marshal and consul is that it will cost one turn less to put your general in a tier 5 unit. But the difference from general to marshal is one turn more on the 4th unit, which is quite inconvenient. 380 medals is reasonable, 575 isn’t.
