Hi there, tactical combats mechanics are completly skipped in the manual and the tuto, like if people were supposed to have learned them from older games... exemple:
- importance of the terrain - any flanking effects? - troops experience mechanisms - comparative advantages and weakness of archers, infanterie and cavaleries, lights or heavy etc. - Mechanics and effects of the unit moral and other combats buffers (by the way, what means this red sword that appears near some of my units sometime?) - Detailedeffect of each tactics (ex : what does Arson actually do on units?)
etc.

Experiment and see it.

Information about nuetral countries: how many times do they have to be bribes till they join, what turn will they join if you don’t bribe them, how many times do you have to bribe them to join, what percentage of your income do they ask for... such statistics would be very helpful

I agree with more info needed on neutrals. Actually, it would be nice if they all appeared in the diplomacy menu so you can see how close they are to allying or declaring war against you.
Some things for the manual: - What on earth is the tax bracket (residence upgrade)? Is it a boost to income, if so how much. - What the spy strategy does exactly. Does it stop unit spawning or does it stop income from that city?
