So we need to invest 2 points in mobility to go 1 hex more with cartage. Could be useable later, not today yuanzhong, You have military map. Could You check whether it is true for all unit types? I mean 4 mobility = 1 hex. It of course depends on Your other units mobility but You probably have cartage also.

It is 4->1 for archers.

All type (except Navy) 3 mobi = 1 hex with blank terrain. Your archers also get hex for 3 mobility? Yes, With Archer: 9 mobility = 3 hexes and 12 mobility = 4 hexes (test with bowman in Spartacus II.01, with and without item, and lvl 1 mobility upgrade) For Cavalry: 13 mobility = 4 hexes, and with Cartage it becomes 15 = 5 hexes. (with lvl 2 mobility upgrade, same mission as Archer) For Infantry: Light Infantry 12 mobility = 4 hexes, and with Military Map it becomes 15 = 5 hexes. (with lvl 3 mobility upgrade, same mission)

I am about how much we need to add with technology and items to recieve additional hex. That's what we are looking for.

I can't test all now, but I think we have to consider what unit we will use most in each category, buy as many as possible Cartage and upgrade mobility to reach 12, 15, 18 mobility (with Cartage you can minus them by 2). I just sure that Cartage works and every 3 mobility give you 1 hex movement. And about this question: I mean If You add cartage to the archer is recieves additional hex? It depends on your unit origin mobility. Atm, my bowman only has 9 mobility so with Cartage, there's no additional hex for it.

I'll make a thread now, as it influences how much it is reasonable to invest into mobility overall for each unit type.

Should I promote somebody to consul or sell pacorus i and replace him with anthony? What About if you grind 100 more (since Pacorus only cost 98 I think minus the percentage when you sell him back) and Buy Antony, I think it’s a win win. You still have Pacorus and Also have Antony. With regards to consul? I think it is good if you think the one your upgrading is worth to have such High rank

How bout me? Who could give me an Advice? I’m looking for my fifth general, I have 644 medals in total and have Mithridates, Pacorus, and Pompey. Also I have the commander as an infantry general, Is octavian worth noting as my second archer commander or should I get infantry General and reset my own commander’s points?

Honestly, I would get Anthony or Arminius. Very rarely will you ever need a 2nd archer general (I rarely ever use my free general). Anthony would be very fast in conquest and will lead to quick victories. I would get Octavian or Cleopatra afterwards. I doubt pacorus alone can carry you throughout the game.

My pacorus actually has both lvl 2 skills so there would be the losing scrolls issue.

True, I think infantry is the go to move. Or cavs And not to go much with 2nd archer for now since often than not, they just provide yo with one archer. But in my exp, I’m currently at campaign seven using this squad and way near at completing all punic wars nation and have grind much in Ceasar’s time, I think Pacorus could be an end game cav (with a distinction of being a bronze gen) lets just upgrade him to a fair lvl of skills maybe 3?? For both of his skills, and with a rank of Chiliarch of Legastus
