Following the discussion about the usefulness of mobility items like cartage and military map I decided it will be interesting to have units mobility in one place. I excluded the mobility points (hope there was no any mistake) I have already invested in my buildings into the mobility, so it is the base value. Means You need to add Your tech value and item value (if used)
So, here it is:
Swordman - 8 mobility Heavy Infantry - 7 mobility Legionary - 7 mobility
Bowman - 8 mobility Marksman - 8 mobility Javelineer - 8 mobility
Raider - 11 mobility Light Cavalry - 11 mobility Heavy Cavalry - 10 mobility
This is all valid for Roman units. For other countries check additionally, as for example Egyptian Scout (equal to Roman Raider) has higher mobility.
Here are some special units which You would probably like to use: Elite Guard (Parthian infantry unit) - 8 mobility Cataphract (Parthian cavalry unit) - 9 mobility Chieftan Cavalry (Gaul cavalry unit) - 10 mobility War Chariot (Egyptian cavalry unit) - 8 mobility War Elephant (Carthage cavalry unit) - 7 mobility
So in general as we found out 3 mobility points gives additional hex on plains. It means that planning You final movement You need to take into account what unit You are going to use and what is Your tech level. Than You could plan whether to use mobility item or not and what the item You need. Keep in mind that adding lower value (the value which won't let You reach that 3 points barrier) won't give You additional movement hex, but could provide You with better maneuverability (difficult terrain like forests etc.)

yuanzhong , thanks. Hope it will help to the players. As I see many of the them are speaking about low mobility of their units, primarily archers. And as we see from the stats we need to invest 4 points (3 more points if we assume everybody invested 1 point already) in order to increase archer mobility which could be a problem and IDK whether it worth doing.

I think it's better upgrade mobility than upgrade other things and use mobility item. As example: the best movement item gives you 2 point of mobility (for gold grade) = 2 times of upgrade. But the best gold defend and attack items give you 7 defend and 15 atk = 2 - 3 times of upgrade.

And You can also use items like Laurel crown or Senator's ring which are definetely awesome.

I am, personally, not entirely sure that we can make further upgrades. Some buildings will have new levels, but maybe only those as pantheon, for example...

He just make a tiny mistake To be honest, the speed of units is not so bad in GCR. It is possible to reach one end of the conquest map, being on the other end of it in 20 turns. If we have another chance to upgrade mobility - our units will move as if there are railroads all over the place. Don't think it will be fun. It is a world of antiquity, it should take some time to conquer... Hannibal fought in Italy 17 years (!). Even Alexander defeated Persian Empire only after several years of campaigns.

yuanzhong , what mistake? And I am pretty sure (even though stoic doesn't believe ) we'll have further upgrades at least several levels. ET always gives possibility to upgrade techs further with an update.

I simply see "Max level" here, I don't remember there were such indications in EW6 Why on earth did they put it if there are further plans?

Achievement list says there will be buildings at least level 6. So MAX level is definetely temporary

It is not that huge as I anyway wasn't planning to spend all points into one ability. So as soon as I realized there will be more levels it is something that could be fixed after the update
