Just got the game last week, I have not played WC4 and all things here are so different with my addicted EW6. I have some questions and please help me out because I’m struggling doing the very first mission and conquest. Firstly, my generals: Hannibal, Cleo, Pacorus and my Inf.Commander. They helped me get through the first and second campaign but it is harder and harder now, and I need more medal and gold but I find out that there’s no place to grind for medal, and getting really confused about that coz every ET games of mine I always grind to buy more or better general when needed.
So the questions are:
1. Is there any way to grind for medal in GCR? The daily missions which give 1 medal each are nonsense, base on luck.
2. What is the fastest conquest/campaign/expedition to get gold?
3. What is the fastest way/mission to level up your generals?
4. Can we buy more than one item of the same (those cost gold)?
5. Coz I don’t have many medals and I heard that we’ll receive 95% of the cost when we dismiss the general. So, should I buy some temporary bronze General? And who to get? They seems pretty much the same and I’m thinking about Ambiorix or Herod/Flaminius/Chen?

No, best way is to either replay conquest a bunch of times or get them from campaign. 2. Illyria, Punic Wars or Carthage Punic Wars as well 3. Expedition #1. I would go ahead and attempt each of the expeditions because you get tons of experience and as well as an aura buff ability for your free commander. 4. For gold, yes. For medals, no. I think there are unlimited items for gold. 5. If you buy a temporary general, makes sure they are as cheap as possible. Consider segestes, trebonius, pedius... Hopefully that helped out. I would purchase pompey next. Once you have him, the game will be much less difficult |

Erich , 1.-The only way to get medals is conquest, campaign , achievements and daily missions 2.- Expedition to Africa, you can complete in 7-10 minutes, get 3 stars and you will earn 2000 each time. I complete this expedition with only my commander, pacorus and trebonius, is really easy 3.- Expedition to Africa,first stage, put your gen in a unit and put auto, repeat, you will earn around 800 exp each time. 4.- Yes, we can have a maximum of 9 5.- I reccomend you buy pedius, i complete the first 3-4 campaigns with only pacorus, trebonius and my commander, you have a better team, if will be more easy for you.

So I’ll save up for Pompey... but I love that guy Ambiorix because of his Inspire, that’s really a very rare talent with only 3 gens afford.
Sadly there’s no way to grind for medals, that makes the game less fun, everyone just do the same way, chooses the same Gens... lazy or not, just play the game and if you want to get it easier, just pay more... I’m getting regret about buying this game and that Hannibal.
Ok, thank you guys, let’s go finish the game.

Well, they are gens we need to buy because they power, how Pompey or Mithridates VI (for f2p), but you can reemplace they with other gens like Mithridates for Cleopatra/Octavian or Pompey for Vercingetorix/Labienus/Bato

If you need medals you could prostitute yourself since in Germany those kinds of natural obligations are still legal .

Is anyone else’s missions only those that require 3 generals for. Because I have like 10 1-3 medal missions, and I only have 5 generals. Not that I am complaining of course. Profit is profit
