I wish Easytech could improve WC4's diplomacy to be similar to EW6. They are likely not launching a WC5, so what they could do is try improve WC4 as best as they could. If anything, watching your allies destroy the enemy is amazing. Gives you a sense of trust, that you can always count on them to defeat those that threaten you. All you need to do is help your allies with diplomacy and they use their military power to win. The thing was in Wc4 the enemy seems to have hidden buffs, and it is noticable in Ew6, both have first conquest have it less noticable. In Wc4 the enter the war thing was confusing, but could work. For example America and Canada start moving on turn 16, so there is an advantage for getting them in. In Ew6 the main reason bribing works is that Ottomans get in early Russia gets in late. They balance each other out, but then you can make the ottomans get in when prussia does, what I do, and then the enemy is missing russia, very important. Same, having the Ottomans come 10 turns earlier than Russia is super helpful. By the time Russia enters the war, their only ally is Great Britain, which is being attacked by all navies. Meanwhile, there is an entire army ready to attack Russia. |

Really? Using bribing method I was able to beat the conquest in 12 minutes. I like it more than doing things myself.
I actually timed myself today, with a time of 13:04 (Mins Secs)
Is that way fast?

After this apparent change in AI, yes, it is fast. Do you mind telling us how you bribed? Like, who you bribed at what turn? This conquest normally takes me 20 minutes, which is almost twice the time that yours takes. |

Russia has fallen. Since the French and Spanish are no help,I move my invasion force up north to Glasgow region as London is heavily protected.  |

 Not a great finsh,but did not declare war or bribe anyone, total estimated playtime 30 mins.  Next game I did declare war on Sardinia, total playtime 20 mins. What's my point?I have none only a comparison. 😀 |

I have made a strategy for Netherlands 1798. Maybe it has been made before, but it definitely works.
Turn 1: Declare war on Sardinia, bribe Warsaw and Prussia.
Turn 2: Declare war on Portugal.
Turn 3: Bribe Warsaw.
Turn 5: Bribe Prussia.
Turn 6: Bribe Ottomans.
Turn 7: Bribe Russia.
Turn 10: Bribe Ottomans.
Turn 13: Bribe Russia.
Turn 18: Bribe Russia.
After that, just skip turns. Your allies are guaranteed to defeat the enemy at this point.
I found that declaring war on Portugal on turn 2 is better than wait for it to join because the Spanish Empire joins at that same turn, and thus they will first focus on Portugal. This once allowed my allies to defeat Portugal in turn 10, when normally it’s only defeated by turn 15 or even 20.
I didn’t see any drastic difference between declaring war on Sweden on turn 2 and waiting for it to join alongside Denmark in turn 4. Thought that waiting for it to join would allow Denmark to attack it without being already surrounded by waiting Swedish troops, but the difference isn’t drastic.
