Generals die so easily in this game, which generals are the most survivable? Here are a couple of examples of generals who can live for a while Yamashita: raider and bayonet charge, useful up until he has 25% hp. Then you retreat him. Mannerheim: lvl 4 raider, lvl 2 supply, and lvl 3 camoflauge makes him a general who can last a while in conquest or in campaigns. Guderian: tons of survivability perks, can last a very long time. Govorov: this guy can still hit very hard at 5% of his total health. That means ranking up is not an issue. Take a look at the 1943 govorov. He can last for a very long time if you are capable. Goering/Arnold: heal very fast in cities, can absorb nukes for your entire team. Rommel: Lvl 4 tide, lvl 4 ace forces, makes him a solid candidate if you need survivability. Very good general, especially in a desert enviroment. Yamamoto: an amazing navy and aircraft general. Has a solid skill set which will keep him alive for a very long time if you are careful

True, cuz ace forces, lvl 4 supply, and lvl 1 tide. But I am not really a huge fan of his damage. He is not really good in aliens or cold war so why get him?

A bit late, but my impression of Monty (more heavily influenced by WC4 now) is that he is a defensive gen in both games. He lacks atk, but makes up for this with survivability, especially since HP is healed in WC3 when units promote, if I remember correctly. What Monty lacks in atk, he makes up with Ace Forces in terms of covering the cost of allowing the unit to promote.

Is he really dependable in aliens tho?🤔 Technically yes, since even Eisenhower is enough. But Rommel is cheaper and has higher damage.

I have been killed by Govorov and Vatutin more than getting killed by Ike or Monty in-game, especially if G&V are on Tide of Iron or Artillery Barrage.

Slap Goring or Arnold in a airfield and watch all your troubles wash away. Although Govorov and Vatutin are extremely annoying to take out without a general of your own and even then, you're bleeding your hp to them.

Solution to all your problems in WC3 is to just simply Bum Rush the enemy. They don't have enough bullets for all of us
