Yeah. They're the best if you have the required gens, but a missed opportunity if you assumed they were of less worth and deployed gens on other missions.

I believe ET made its condition easier with the latest patch. It was quite difficult to satisfy the conditions before.

Yeah and paying back handsomely the investment into the double rewards and double missions items. My F2P status is applicable to the generals and to not paying for quick fixes.
