In this mission you need to take out 2 fortresses and three cities. Artillery would be handy but you only start with 2 and 3 heavy cavalry.
I send my troops north to conquer the key target and the fortress. The southern enemy is pretty still. Then i build an artillery princess to reduce the cost and built 2 more artillery unit (low level city and meager budget dont allow big units, but still helps).
I then split my army, sending 2 cavalry general south to conquer the lv3 city and then attack the southwestern key target. the rest of the army with the artillery takes out the second fortress and the heavily fortified Paris. when you conquer Paris, the enemy freezes and you should take advantage to slash through them
