In this mission, I have done a few strategic mistakes and yet I completed it with 3 stars and one round earlier. If you can avoid these mistakes.....
1. avoid attacking enemy generals with infantry/ cavalry. Focus artillery as their counterattacks is triple-digit hits! 2. based on the above allocate 4 generals to artillery (if you have them). Arty also comes handy to defeat the fleet 3. It's important that you invest money in upgrading the cities (i did this) for 2 reasons: A. you can invest in farms and build enough population to generate income, critical to replenish your thinning armies B. You can upgrade military tactics and invest in plague, promotion or forced march (one of my mistakes; forced march will be useful as the battle has 2 fronts and once you win one front, you should rush your units to help the others. 4. You can only use 1 princess. If you have Sofia (i recruited her as general so cannot use her like a princess) you can upgrade the main city at a reasonable cost. Alternatively, use Louise (my strategy) to inflict 25% more damages to units attacking within 3 grids.
Also I split my army evenly between the 2 fronts (pointless to leave units in the middle)
