I’ve seen various people commenting that a certain conquest favors a certain side, however some claim that one conquest favors a side while the others claim that the conquest actually favors the other side. Could someone please explain what conquest favors what side, and why?

1798 definitely favors the French, and imo 1815 goes to the coalition

It really depends on what your goal is. The French side is generally better in all ages if you’re looking for an easy conquest (Ottomans says hi). But coalition is usually way better when speedrunning except for in 1806 (Greenland).

Well, if you mean a.i moving attack power, then 1798- french eagle (just bribe allies/enemies to do work for u) 1806- coalition (absolutely, because austria + russia + prussia is gg) 1812 and 1815 - no one, because it is yours the outcome of this war. You need to do work for itself, because whether side you are in, the enemies will get stronger and smarter.

From my few games in 1812, you can generally trust your allies to deal with Russia however the US will fall without any support and France will lose the majority of it's land. Might've just gotten lucky so I'll try a few more games.

Might've just gotten lucky so I'll try a few more games. It depends on which country you’re playing. If you’re playing as a good French country (Italy, for example), you can quickly take care of Austria and then push into Prussia and Russia. Provided that Denmark dealt with Sweden, France will be able to take Iberia over. Or, if you play as Morocco, you can kill Algeria, Naples and Italy, allowing Austria to survive more easily, forcing the Ottomans to fight alone in the Eastern front and putting France in a tight spot. Donate to Sweden to make sure they defeat Denmark. Eventually, you will be able to steamroll France and the Ottomans. Donate to Canada and Mexico to help them against USA.

Now, in 1812 and 1815 I prefer Coalition because you don’t have to babysit USA which is really annoying since they will never defeat Canada and Mexico. Canada and Mexico do, however, eventually defeat USA if assisted.

Áustria is also not that hard to keep alive. They can 100% hold against the enemy if lend-leased. Same with Sweden.

Because if you didn’t donate them, US will defeat those two, resulting in longer run.
