At the start city 3 7 defect follow with 4 5 nothing can stop them from defect

If you lose city 6 city 2 will be defect too and it cause the pouring of defect pathian army at city 1

If you can retake city 4 city 5 will join your side again

At turn 5 or 6 Octavian will be appear at northwest corner

Here is my plan put the best general for southern army my commander Crasus and Pompey. Northern force with Huo Drasus Agrippa and comius.

Northern force retake city as soon as possible for the clear passage of Octavian and his men can go defends city 6 and city 5 join your side. After take city 4 upgrade to city level 5 build up economy This city will be safe for a while until the last of mission that han will try to take it back. for the moment you can left city without defense and use general to protect city 6.

Southern force go staight and take city 3 7 8. after that build up soame economy and left the best general to defense city 7. and the rest of your force can react depend on situation. At this point you should have economic build up to defense against han. as long as city 6 not belong to enemy you have nothing to worry with city 1 and 2.

What did you do for helping the Parthian to hold Ecbatana for so much turns? Everytime I played this, they fell on turn 4

Nhyjj, i figured as much, but no idea if the count is clock or anti clockwise, or which city he is starting with…

I tried that and failed, different victory for me. I made my toughest (tanky and damage dealer combined)Go south and immediately aim for the objective in the south east of the map (photos arent showing for me so I cant tell which is which) then I made 3 of my northern troops attack and take the north west objective and defended it while the 4th that i didnt make go with the north go south and defend 1, the south I made go and defend the hardest and took 2 times but with healing supplies of course. I'm sorry if this is not understandable but I left this as a show of my experience but also possibly for anyone who wants to complete it.

This one caused me a bit of trouble. I am not sure how your allies are able to hold Ecbatana for so long for some of you. Without any help they lose Ecbatana on turn 4 and on a few tries where I divert some troops to help, they still lost it.

On my successful attempt I use my full force to help defend Ecbatana. A opportunity presented it self when my ally didn't have a unit on Ecbatana and it was open for me to take. I also have the cities north and south of Ecbatana at that point. There were still some heavy attacks on Ecbatana. Octavian arrived and killed the Parthian General to make the cities there switch back, I sent my archer commander to hold the north west city. Disaster occurred when Phraates was killed and Ctesiphon was lost.

I only narrowly won this level. I sent Arminius to take Ctesiphon. On the last turn there was a infantry unit with just over 1 circle of hp, 2 hits from Arminius will kill the unit. With force march I had to get lucky and have the 60% of another move occur at least once on that turn to capture Ctesiphon. The small force I sent was able to take the south east city.
