I wonder how long they will keep the save change that way, it is a possibility that it could be changed. why should they? They’ve released a dozen games after EW4. It’s ET‘s policy to release a game, add some new content plus bugfix a few months later, then leave it and move on to the next release. Look at the update history in the AppStore. The latest update was the first in four years and added only support for new phones and pads and the ad videos. I’m pretty sure this game will not change anymore. That's the sad thing, I enjoy playing the old easytech games and wish they can revist them and add new items,troops etc. I would also like to see a frist person game Where you play as a general and join the combat. |

I imagine a noob won’t have to get isabella with 0 generals. They just have to get Sophia Fatimah on their first run. Then on their second run, they will have it significantly easier due to having a powerful economic general and a good one to send into italy with archduke charles. Then they will get maria to help out, who has pretty good movement and reasonable damage to be sent into iberia. What I am saying is good job, playing this well early on will render the need for purchasing iap generals. judging from the member rank I guess he’s no noob but an ambitiousace, who likes to try speed runs without his generals.😉 |

At least the android version got a late (1 max 2 years ago) a graphic update - I've seen EW4 a few years ago and I was amazed how good the graphics are today compare to the first releases. For this I'm waiting for a EW6 android update - the android graphic engine will be updated for sure - the IOS screenshots look so much better. |

Well, speed running without generals is like challenging the old bad guy, just without a light Sabre, but a knife.😁 Before to start the game I visited the EW4 Facebook site and read the beginning: " Imperial Eagle is a campaign in the game European War 4: Napoleon. It's one of the two starter campaigns so it's very easy and can even be done without any of your generals." When it became not very easy for me anymore I tried a conquest FR98 - simmilar to the campaign - running with French generals towards Moscow. With Sophia and Fatima as my first generals I never was in need to spend medals for generals. My savings for scharnhorst I invested in potent gunpowder (Att +6) - it arrived in the shop in the moment I got Sophia (I'm curious if this is coded) I never regret my girly game ! |

They are pretty good with skills, the only problem is that they need stars and takes 2 missions just to have 1 clear changing slot. They also surprisingly look better then other generals.

Replayed Hre 1798 with no generals. Let me just say that sending deroy and rosenberg through poland is a very good idea. I got rid of the annoying poles very quickly and was able to get rid of poland by turn 15. Furthermore, even with the delay, they were still able to do finish the danish front around turn 27. The main problem with this method is that it leaves lusignan pretty vulnerable and he’ll still finish the ottoman front by turn 31 but he’ll be very weakened. Its advised to send a cavarly general to istanbul to help him.
I send holtze to netherlands, and the invasion was very successful as I was able to get the annoying netherlands out of the way very quickly with the help of the british (hood and a very useful heavy cavarly unit). Then I sent him to denmark as well.
On the italian front, as I send archduke charles and klenau was very underveloped and the italians sent most of this troops to either munich or vienna. I also very sneakly got rid of the annoying ottoman fortress with the heavy artillery before retreating it back to vienna to heal, making taking out the ottoman heavy artillery next to it pretty easy. Afterwards, I counterattacked the italian offensive and encircled most of the italian units with ease. Afterwards, milan and the french city next to it gave way pretty easily.
The front where I did struggle with was the spanish front. As you have to fight desaix, marmont, moreau, claude, and dumouriez back to back, my generals survived but the spanish front was stalled for 20 rounds (when barcelona fell). Luckily both Archduke C and Klenau were able to get to high ranks very quickly and made short work of spain afterwards.
I got 600 years. In short, this conquest isn’t too bad by any means. A beginner should be able to get at least Sophia and Fatimah relatively quickly, especially if they brought along dumouriez. With Fatimah, the country would economically grow much faster and you would have a huge advantage (if you place her on rifleman). With sophia as well, the italian front may actually take about 5 rounds less, and as it is the longest front, maybe lead to Isabella being obtainable early on.

Also I spam Elite Guards as they are the hardest hitting units, and Heavy Cavarly as they move 1 hex more than Horse Grenadiers. Imo they seem to be the most effective spam units

Imo they seem to be the most effective spam units I don't spam till I upgarde all my city's, after that I spam all my generals and finally I spam grenadiers due to being fully in formation. |
