So far the free generals I’ve gotten from the first Civil War campaign include US Grant, Philip Sheridan, and David Farragut. No free arty gen. Has anyone gotten far enough yet?

German campaign I got Moltke on second mission, I’m on third mission and well I forget to tell that at almost and of Civil war campaign you will one more gold cavalry general Stonewall as well. I don’t know why ET gave us more cavalry general than normal. |

I appreciate it. Cavalry has been my favorite unit type so far. Hunting cavalry are pretty good for spamming, and breastplate cavalry is really good, though a bit too expensive for my taste.

In German campaign mission 12 you’ll get max looff, a navy general. Lots of free gen in this game.

By my count there’s 13 (!) free generals. And Cadorna is among one of them, and I have to wait until the 10th campaign to get him... ugh.

Because that'd actually be insane if some of them were Luigi Cadorna has, and is the ONLY person who has what I think is arguably the best skill in the game: Dogfight. It "Freezes an enemy". That description can admittedly be interpreted in a few different ways. If it only immobilizes the enemy, then it's pretty worthless. If it's a stun (which I think it is), then it's WC4 rumor, except you get the stun in 1 action instead of 3, and rumor in WC4 was unquestionably the best skill in that game. But the thing is you get him in the 10th campaign, and no one is that far already. EDIT: it is an immobilize, not a stun. Darn. |

selivanov is meagre, artillery generals are better off being bought. Get Ivanov, Hotzendorf and Hindenburg, drop Leopold if you cant afford
