What in your opinion is the best country in EW6: 1914

I can’t win with them in conquest, but the Austro-Hungarian Empire. When I played as Italy in 1914, the A-H Empire was extremely tough to beat. They had successfully defended against all of my allies and myself until I took Vienna. They have good generals and a good economy, I’m just not that good at the game yet.

I haven’t tried Germany, but they’ve gotten stomped every time I play with the Austro-Hungarian Empire. I must just not be that good at the game because the sheer volume of the enemy is impossible to beat for me.

Austria-Hungary is stronger than Germany. which is strange? I believe it's easytech keeping the tradition of making every country that starts a war the main power as we have seen in European wars(France) & World Conqueror(Germany) games. |

Yet, you are absolutely right... It is ridiculous... well it doesnt have to be the main power, in wc4 the balkans (esp italy) are way stronger than nazi germany and constantly ends up carrying the fuhrer in 1939 and 1943 |

The only thing that they do is putting some weak units to try preventing Britain from landing. However, the British usually manage to land because this blocking causes them to build an entire fleet in the English Channel that eventually overpowers the Germans. For some stupid reason Dönitz goes after North America and gets squashed by the US Navy. And Manstein, Rommel, Guderian etc. commit suicide by trying to land into Britain, who easily kills them with their superior naval power. |

Some 3-star countries are powerhouses that can attack and defeat the enemy with little difficulty, only challenged by a country of similar power. Others are just a meatshield.
