In EW6:1804 gold generals had 5 skills whit decent or high batle and unit ability; purple gens had 4 skills, blue 3 and green 2.
Most easytech games have a clear difference between the diferents colors of generals.
But here i cant find what the difference is, some green generals have 5 or 4 skills(and those are decent).
So whats the real reason in EW6:1914 for a general to be considered gold tier and not purple/blue/green?

Green and Blue generals tend to miss some of them (there are also 5,+skills blues and greens , but these are exceptions). I think every gold general gets at least prince, and just some purple ones. But yeah, the difference used to be bigger |

Generals of different colors gain different amount of ability bonus from title.
At Emperor,
Sherdan (green) gains +28 ability and +45% def
McClellan (purple) gains +50 ability and +45% def
Stonewall Jackson (yellow) gains +60 ability and +45% def
I do not have blue general who can reach emperor.

Gold- 60 battle ability
