For me he deserves to be one of the best general in the game for his performance in real life. But unfortunately he just fine one not Decently like his friend Brusilov(Brusilov should be Artillery general for his offensive focus mainly on artillery)

He also actually wore the same style of cap, but without the insignia sewn in the crown. I can understand that as an oversight more than putting US insignia on the hat of a German, they must have thought it looked suitable enough and was already drawn, so easier to add then create an Eagle or Crest or something. Edit: The more I look at it, the more it bothers me. The general next to him in the store, is russian, and has the right hat. Also, Henry Horne gets the same treatment as Mackensen. I think they must have run out of time when doing the portraits for artillery |

Capped at prince Radetzky and Mackensen: Two generals that were amazing in real-life and deserve much more than they get in ET games. Well, Radetzky was good in EW4, but became bad in EW6 and Mackensen made his debut as a bad general. At least we can change Mackensen's skills, but he deserves to have at least 3 good skills from the start. |
