Just wanna add a little... General color determines the ability bonus from title. Sheridan (green) gains only +28 ability from emperor title, while Stonewall Jackson (yellow) gains +60. Yes, his basic ability is a modest one...

It would be interesting to know how many defensive points he will ignore at Pierce lvl 6...

Sheridan skills set is great but he is not worth to upgrade even he can increase nobility to emperor, because his Ability stats is bad and his emperor stats not mean that he is not receive 60 ability bonus that we see in gold general but instead he received only 28 ability bonus for Green general, 36 for blue and 50 Ability Bonus for purple at Emperor Nobility.

Another important question is: who are his rivals? Presumably we all agree that we need at least 3 (probably more) cavalry generals. McClellan and Stonewall are arguably the best two non-IAP Cavalry generals. But are others head above Sheridan to spend medals instead of using free Sheridan?

I'll most probably rely on him and stonewall until I get McClellan..I mean hes good cause we're already comfortable with him since the beggining so doesnt hurt to upgrade him rather than buying another better calvary general

Sidney Johnston and Moltke the Younger possibly. They lack some survivability on Sheridan which is a big deal, but the damage might be worth it.

But I agree with Stoic. Sheridan is a decent general that we get for free, and the fact that he is an Emperor gives him endgame capability. We can’t really complain. The man is FREE.

For those that are getting him as a temporary general for History Mode, limit him as a Duke and Major General.

All I did was giving this guy the red book, an ambulance, swapping Station for Jungle and upgrading his skills to level 3. Suddenly he is someone that is as strong as a good purple general.

Take out station and add alert. Here will be a guy that's going penetrate the front. Since he's not a stand alone I like to pair him off with Ivanov or McClellan.
