Youโre not one shotting anything with artillery unless youโre using Krupp Cannons or playing early campaigns or 1865. Also, you donโt always get the drop on navy since theyโre out on the seas. And imo itโs pretty important to take out navy so you donโt go half dead trying to cross a strait or something. I would absolutely take alert as my 5th skill on artillery. Hmm interesting. What about on hindenberg if I replaced land fort with tactics master. Should I replace alert with pf or keep it Iโd replace land fort with tactic master. Alert goes well with defense formation so I keep alert on him. He still hits hard enough.

Agreed, the subs are terrible. I mean for artillery, sort of yes, but a terrain bonus is way better than alert. That way you will have so much output you will one hit kill naval units. For artillery: maybe on the non aura buff artillery general on your team. But it will be hard to find a spot for it after tactics master, salvo, storm fortifications, and a terrain bonus is added. There really isn't any point in building 1 range artillery... at all. Spend just a bit more on a light artillery and they'll give you so much more value. A bit funny to see them have 2 range with the +1 range tech though

You guys any have any idea about skills sets for cavalry gen. I still try to figure out which skills should I pick.

The usual skill set would be Precision Strike, Edge, Tactic Master, Surprise Attack, Cavalry Commander/Terrain buff. You can toy around with the defense aura but those would be the general skill set you'd be looking for.

Iโm still troubled about whether putting Pierce in Lee or not. Tunnel does make him an absolute god when he is commanding grenadiers, but sadly those are only available when playing as France or Russia. I remember though that this allowed him to deal high damage against anything defending cities. He is very strong when put on a Heavy Machine Gunner.
I also have a question about Pierce:
-Can Pierce and Tactics Master trigger at the same time? Like how Blitzkrieg and Rumor could trigger at the same time in WC4?
