Planning to do conquests and just progressed into campaign chapter 2.Tried first mission and felt that artillery is crucial here so what would you guys say?

In chapter 2 you will get another decent cavalry general, namely Moltke. So, you will have 3 cavalry generals then - Stonewall, Sheridan and Moltke. More than enough, imo... I would say the first one should be an Artillery general... |

Hmm should I save for Hindenburg or Hotzendorf?Im close to Hotzendorf and 200+ medals behind for Hindenburg..Its almost impossible to progress without a solid artillery general

I agree, first of all you need an Artillery general with tactic Master. Hindenburg's defense is rather for middle/end game...

I agree, first of all you need an Artillery general with tactic Master. Hindenburg's defense is rather for middle/end game... I really dislike the RNG-aspect of tactic master, but almost everyone with high consistent damage has it anyway so there’s no loss, unlike for folks like Davout. |

Yeah, I agree it is some kind of a bonus, but a very nice one  . RNG is a gambling, but you can win as well I think it is a better version of that of Davout's though. Davout was forced to receive some damage in return. Now we can safely bombard enemies from distance... |
