Hello guys, Nope, sorry to disappoint you but unfortunately I do not have the solution to beat this challenge. I've tried many tactics but I must admit that this one is basically a suicide mission. I'm glad to show you the fourteenth challenge of the Serbian Campaign: the Battle of Marasesti. You thought that this one was pretty easy in the campaign? Well, what do you think of the following conditions: Yeah, you read well. No generals AND all the targets must survive. NO GENERALS?! Not even one?! Okay, so be it, let's give it a try. Move immediately all your units to the bottom of the map in order to reinforce your allies. By moving carefully and wisely your units, you can easily defeat several enemy units weakened by your allies. But without any general, it is still very difficult to stay alive and you have to do your best in order to protect the key targets!! Keep in mind that they will keep attacking the enemy, and that the enemy will go straight after the key targets. You have to throw all your units in the battle. If you're (really) lucky, you defeat most of the enemy units as well as keeping the four key targets alive. And then... once you reach the round 8/9, surprise surprise: Like if it wasn't enough difficult, two waves of enemy reinforcements just appeared on the map: 2 generals with machine guns, tanks... I do not need to tell you that the next rounds were basically a bloodbath. So I'm wondering; Easy Tech, what kind of weed did you smoke when you made this challenge (and some others)? Not to mention that my training skills (infantry, cavalry, artillery...) are fully upgraded! Is there anyone who successfully passed this challenge? By successfully, I mean the 3 stars, of course. I'm thinking that the only way to beat it is to buy tons of medical supplies (at least 50) in order to keep healing all your units during 15 rounds. What do you think of this idea? *** EDIT: it works very well with medical supplies. I used approximately 40 medpacks to keep alive all my units. Desperate times call for desperate measures. 😇

Idk man, maybe try fooling with them around instead of killing them? Without a good cavalier, this is gonna be very hard After France nothing's gonna surprise me

I've never tried. Problem is that the map is very small and we are outnumbered by the enemy...

Is there any way of getting medpacks? By the time I reach this, I will likely have ran out of meds.

I passed it after like 5 hours of trying just to get the plain fighting. I didn't get but yeah. You must go straight for the tank and hope he goes for the lower general. Kill it, then everyone gets -2 morale. Flank artillery, and get some shoot to the upper part, so infantry gen can survive. All the generals were on like 10% hp when I finished it, but ultimately I did

The possibilities to get medical supplies are: - In the shop (but medical supplies will cost you either 25 medals (for one package giving +25% HP) or 35 medals (for one package giving +50% HP); - With the daily Gift Packs (for example, it is possible to buy 30 medical supplies + 10 000 gold coins at once with real money, only 1,09€); - By watching videos (adds); - Achievements. I think it is worth it so, I never hesitate to spend some money when I need medical supplies. They can really make the difference in the challenges.

The greatest question of this campaign and challenge is that why is this a Serbian Campaign and not a Romanian Campaign? Pretty sure this battle is fought by the Romanians against germany. Also, Edelweiss7 , Easytech does not smoke weed, they smoke opium. (Maybe)

I love how you can keep fighting after a key point has been lost. No chance to win, but you can just keep fighting for the fun of it.

Just a while ago... we did celebrate for an occasion that ET removed "No general rank higher than Count" condition ... ... and that's just so that we stumble on "No general whatsoever" condition.

Maybe we should consider a "least amount of medpacks used" as a challenge for this specific campaign. Atleast for Battle of Cers that is a pain until you figure out the pattern of actions needed to do, along with some luck to demoralize the enemy generals. This is just pain with no way out. I know this is a year late, but we should consider a petition for ET to rename this campaign "the Battle of Diminishing Sanity and Medpacks". BDSM for short. Hopefully this is the hardest campaign 1914 has to offer, i need to save my remaining brain cells for challenge conquests and farming history mode.

This mission can be completed with up to 8 (free /cheap generals) as long as they are dismissed before the end of the mission. Every other general also works but the investments in skills, rank and title as well as initial cost are not fully refunded. This works for each of these "limited generals missions".
" Maybe don't upgrade him at all. According to easytech, if you dismiss the general before the end, it won't count as a deployed general (I forgot if you need to disband the unit as well). So we can probably keep him that way for the "no more than x generals" campaigns and go for someone like Joffre or Johnston. "
"
I have to try this just to see if it works -> 3-starred Battle of Krivolak with 14 units surviving (disbanding not necessary) and 0 medpacks used thanks to temporary aid from Nicholas, Carol and Selivanov - I like it "
Thinking about it now, this exploit might even help you with conquest speed runs.

Thanks for the info! I do know that using infantry generals/Artillery generals/navy generals can be used in cavalry to bypass "cavalry generals used no more than 0" conditions and vice versa can be used, but I didn't know that the game only considers generals in the map at the end of the turn. If it also works in conquest, then that means no general runs should be more scrutinized, and the new challenge I added as well.
