Currently stuck in the 13th mission of the 8th chapter and thought of buying a new Infantry general (I already have Petain, Carol I, Nicholas I and, meh, Grant). Should I go for Boyadzhiev or Infantry isn’t really needed in the endgame? Maybe should I reinforce my navy team with Beatty (currently got Hood + free generals)?

If you've got Petain, then your infantry is just fine. You can get Haig after you've passed Italy campaign. Beatty is useful for coastal raiding and navy missions. But the most crucial are cavalry and artillery

What do the General skill resets do? Do you get to pick out your generals skills? Or does it just set their levels all back to 1, that seems pretty useless to me.
