So there I am, at the last mission of the last chapter going all forward to beat the game in the normal mode and since every mission until now (with some rare exceptions) was pretty easy, I went full attack but things didn’t work out favourably. Tried to rework my strategy, but stoll nothing. Looks like the last mission is really challenging! So I need you guys to help me out.
Generals: Petain, Moltke, Jackson, Hotzendorf, Hindenburg, Mcclellan, Todorov, Nicholas I, Nicholas II and Carol I. Everyone is upgraded, but not fully maxed.

I find the challenge mode of this Mission easier than campaign mode . Less spam in Challenge mode

I used a couple different generals than you did. You might want to get a different artillery general than Czar Nicholas II (unless you’d rather wait for the update to make him great).
For this mission I had to send Petain on the Maxims to help out the allied city east of your starting point, along with the two infantry units (I didn’t put generals on them). If you can manage to take it when your ally fails, and they will, you will most likely be able to hold onto it by placing a militia on it every other round (you might have to leave a general around in case). The hardest part for me was the northwestern city. Spam flowed from that and the northeastern city, which was tough. I sent my units up there as quickly as possible. If you can take the NW city, then you should be able to move east and get the last city. I failed a couple of times before winning and this worked for me.

If your generals are in good shape, I recommend to blitz the mission.
As in; first help your allies in the east. Do not take the city, as it will only result in your units dying. Have a couple of strong units hanging around the area of the first city (east of starting point). Will come in handy later. Take the Tank (in my case Jackson), one random infantry unit and your artillery (with generals, in my case Ivanov, Hindenburg and Beseler) and rush northwards. Destroy the armored car, and after that go on and take the city directly north. Once the units there are destroyed, use the infantry you brought along to take the city (instead of your stronger units, thus saving a turn for them). If some of your strong units have a move left after taking the previous city, use them to rush on northwest to take the last city (even if they move alone for 1 turn. I used the pass between the mountains, in which you'll meet an artillery unit before your tank can go further. Both Ivanov and Beseler had mountain fighting, so they rushed past the artillery blockage and started bombing the city from the mountains while the tank was stuck fighting the artillery inside the mountain pass. Once you're in fighting range of the city in NW, your units around the first city can clean up the unit inside and take it.
Use militia/LI to defend the second city (north) if need be. If you do this quickly enough though, the enemy won't have time to defeat the first unit you put in the city.
I tried a slower and more secure approach at first (in some missions moving slower with all your units moving together ends up finishing the objectives faster), but that was not the case here. A slow approach was much harder than just blitzing through it.

Apparently guerilla and hit and run works well here

Thought I'd chip in to ask for advice, since I'm equally struggling. Cavalry, arty and inf units are near/maxed out.
I've got Ludendorff, Lee, Jackson, Foch, Hindenburg, MacArthur, Stepanovic, Petain and Nicholas II. I can barely even reach either of the northern cities before being torn apart.

Try to use more force on going on the objectives. Leave 1-2 gens on defending on the attacked city.

If you want, you may also consider swapping MacArthur for Staußenburg. Did you remember to upgrade your gens' Rank or buy more equipment?
Maybe these minor things have been secretly sapping your gens' strength.

I suggest that you leave the attacked city empty and just clear out the enemy around and make tactics.Blitz north where you go clockwise.Ottomans will chase your generals so just bait them from the key cities.Make sure to ginish fast as turn 8 and so on mackensen will join the fray

Focus on Killing Nadir. Then capture the cities and kill price leopold. Split up your forces( One kills Nadir the other rescues your ally.) Nadir's dogfight makes him nasty. That how I completed it.

Oh god this mission is taking forever. I tried to retake the eastern city from the Germans, but any infantry will just get instantly demolished by the machine gun spam. I even put the tank on the key point with a general, and Leopold just destroyed it in one turn. Any advice on how to win?
I have: Beseler (Maxed) Ivanov (LT gen, duke) Boroevic (LT gen, count) Straubenburg (LT gen, prince) Moltke (LT gen, duke) Jackson (LT gen, king) Stepanovic (Gen, prince) and every free general in the game. Is my general too weak or is there something that I'm missing here

NotRandom,It's most likely you're not stuck anymore, but i have found a way that works. I concentrated all my troops into defending the eastern city, then killing Leopold and Mackensen. From the eastern city, i went towards the northeast city. Then finally, i sent my arty gens to attack the nortwest city. Note that i didn't attack the city right above me, as that initiated the heavy spamming. The gens i used are: Jackson, Plummer, Straussenburg, Macmahon, Hindenburg, Ivanov and Beseler. I did use 6 small medpacks though, to make sure my citys don't get captured. So, basically: Punch to the eastern keypoint, take it ( let your allies die if needed), Kill Leopold and Mackensen. Punch North, and then Punch West.
