I think we will see Japan and the Bolsheviks in the future since the Russo-Japanese War and the Establishment of Soviet Russia/October Revolution are playable scenarios. There are two japanese generals in the game files, look-alike of kuribayashi and terauchi. (The other one is terauchi with beard) |

I really hope they won't be giving medals as rewards for those missions... It seems they have a purely academic interest to me...

Btw, there are some tricks in this mission that makes it quite easy: 1. If you take this town and port - reinforcements will come including one ironclad, so, I advise to upgrade Farrengut  2. When some key ships are destroyed, enemies will be confused for a couple of rounds, that makes them sitting ducks basically. |

I completed both American missions without upgrading Grant or Sheridan (let alone without spending precious books to change their skills). So, it is better to concentrate all efforts on technology upgrades, McClelan and Farrengut. And, of course, to get all healing items before playing them.
And very likely we don't need all those generals after that. No sorrow to be a parted company with Grant, Sheridan or Farrengut, but I am really sorry to sell McClelan. He is an excellent general, but the last update literally "killed" him. Moreover, I think we need generals like Stepanovic for future missions.
