Yes, I know, it is a great bonus without any doubt. I mean that counterattack is significantly better when a general already has plain fighting or forest fighting. Well, if their other skills are Precision Strike, Riding Master and Surprise Attack, then yes, I would pick Counterattack. And no, if they had Forest Fighting I would replace it with Plain. I don’t like having to micromanage my generals and deliberately go to forest titles. It could be a real problem to find perfect spots on plains for all generals though... |

Does the Cactus thing (in Deserts) that gives you the same buffs you get in forests count as a forest tile too? |

We hadn't ever get such a strong general for free. |

I feel assured to just aim for Beatty now I have Hotzendorf, Lee, McClellan, Moltke, Stonewall, Hindenburg and Ivanov. Figure I just need Stepanovic and Boroevic (or another infantry general cuz some ppl feel boroevic isnt the best and I'd have to do more research  ) to complete my end game roster |
