I'd start saving medals again after ET posted that poll. Don't know how many generals will be added but nice to be safe. As for farming gold, finishing campaigns is a pretty good way to get a few 100k. Auto conquests give about 5k or you can do it the manual way and spam skip turns on the first mission of the civil war.

I will hold off on buying sidney johnston or bacon for now in case better generals are available in the future. |

All of the slots are free, resources are abundant, you can change the skills of your generals. |

I would save medals you don't need for trading skill books then. It is quite expensive, yes, but right now I need books more than anything else...

I agree. I have a gold surplus now. I regret trading in those medals when I could have used them on textbooks
