We already have some guides on the generals but the basic path should be to buy McCellan, Johnston and Hotzendorf/Hindenburg. Technology should be focused more on your main units such as infantry, cavalry, and artillery. Focus on the mobility first then upgrade the attack, hp, and defense. Welcome to the forums and enjoy your stay! european-war-4.boards.net/thread/12169/ew6-1914-libraryyou should be able to find a lot of stuff on generals in this guide.

I can't give you advice about generals but as far as tech goes I upgrade artillery and cavarly first, then infantry..ships after that because you need it for certain missions..I don't really worry about forts and leave that last..beaware you also need to upgrade generals and their skills and that can be expensive

I prefer doing mobility first in Technology, but that might just be me yes, mobility is a precious factor... now that most of my technology is maxed it makes my troubles in the 1st campaign of the 1st chapter seem silly (why spam mountains in a beginner level )

I was pretty much intimidated when I first tried that mission a few weeks ago. Seriously? One hex at a turn? Haha

Yup that pretty much sums up ET games in general Then after that, they will become stronger and faster as superman True, my infantry can move at alarmingly faster rates than my artillery can (sometimes I even have to completely reroute my cavalry/artillery whilst my infantry units can just charge straight through the alpines like in Italy in 1865 and 1914
