In every general you can buy there is an icon of a white helmet on a green background where it says "K.O"
What does this stat mean?

It means how many enemy units that general has destroyed. Pretty cool little feature, which it was in other games too

It would be interesting to have achievements or medals for the specific general for killing a certain unit type..Like killing x no. of artillery gains the general title of anti-artillery general

For me in wc4 only 30-40  but if you inquire about Yamashita, then yes maybe 200-3000+ xD |
