Seeing that they come as a package means that you will probably have to waste 2 general slots (instead of getting only the Japanese admiral) and have less to work with when swapping generals for the history mode missions. Cant assess the importance of that though since not all history mode missions are out yet

Um, they all need to swap some skills indeed.
Togo needs to swap Helmsman to battle of line. Oyama needs to swap explosive to salvo/storm
Kuroki is useless, only worth to swap tunnel to street fighting, to make it useful as a city guard.
while i already make Grant to be one, and it is funny to see dozens of units severely hit when they are sieging amy city holded by a infantry general with formation+inspiration+street fighting.

I will try it once i get the package.
using Grant and Kuroki with city fighting, sucessively in 2 infantry units, should be able to hold a city against 20s hostility, especislly when you have 1-2 cavalry to rule out the threat of artillery within the city 2 girds radius.

Cant assess the importance of that though since not all history mode missions are out yet We have +8 slots though Lee, Straussenberg, Jackson, Beatty, Hipper, Hindenburg, Beseler, Plumer, Ivanov, Leopold, Moltke, Bacon, Haig, Stepanovic. Lets say one has upgraded and invested a lot into them. we 3 slots left for history mode missions if the other 3 are filled by the Japanese Generals. We do not have the full situation yet since ET releases history mode a small portion at a time, thus nothing is certain yet as to whether those 3 slots are fully sufficient.

Heihachiro will be the most op general after 15 textbooks. Lwao will be awesome after salvo replaces explosive. The last guy is grant with defense formation instead of battle array.

Yes, $4 for a strong trio is a sorely needed benefit for P2W players. (3800 )

Spending 10 textbooks, to equip Grant and Kuroki with street fighting, they will be very useful to stand against the early spam in 1-star country conquest.

We should now take a break from the game, watching videos and accumulate textbooks, i will save up 35 textbooks for the 3 when the update finally comes
I think Oyama needs 15 textbooks, beside explosive, revenge also needed to be changed, as it will not occur much in artillery.
