My generals are Guderian and Govorov, and I now got enough medals for either of them so the price difference doesn't matter. Erich Von Manstein recommends Patton, but i've also seen many others recommending Rommel.
I finished almost everything related to human warfare and now I need to prepare to face the aliens, so who is better in terms of Alien warfare and why?

Both Rommel and Patton has the survivability.The game changer is the skill 'Street Fighting' where Patton possesses.So Patton has the edge here as he deals more damage to the aliens and towers.He too has explosives which makes him the city cracker.(If you have Manstein,you don't need rommel as Manstein is arguably the best Tank and artillery general to crack cities)If you have him,you go for Rommel. |

Rommel’s tide of iron is very valuable! In Union 3 there is even some desert for Rommel to use. Rommel is also cheaper which makes me choose him over Patton.
