I am a living witness that you can finish the game perfectly with McClellan, so I don't know why are you trashing him.

Him as an antithesis to Lincoln Honestly speaking he has served well as my third cavalry general, and since I bought Johnston too I toggle between them occasionally, often I find myself preferring McClellan even with fewer skills due to his satisfactory output and general efficiency.

Yeah sure you could use him but he isn’t the best option, even Mackensen or Nikolaevich could be stronger Many of us have gotten McClellan from the very first trailblazer suggestions and proposals. That was way before this update, before the advent of textbooks as well (I could still recall how every thread about skills had at least one What do Textbooks Do? questions ahaha). I don't think we would want to incur the penalty, not so much on the actual detrimental value on our resources if you want to argue on that frontier, but more on the basis of keeping him there since we already have him. Its more of an affectual rather than a logical decision

Sure, there are better options after text book update, but no one can argue the fact that McClellan, Sidney Jonston and Stonewall did the job perfectly and I salute my comrades officers for that☺

McClellan was one of the first available super cavalry. At that point he WAS a great option, and the only way I would have not gotten him back then is if I psychically knew that ET would buff other cavalry to ridiculous levels. And selling him is a net loss, so theres's nothing wrong with keeping him.

If you have ludendorf, you will recover your medal loss very quickly with mccellan. He is pretty good.
But at the same time though, Stepanovic may be needed for history mode, joffre may be needed for history mode, Sidney is amazing, Plummer is amazing, Jackson is amazing, Moltke is needed for history mode and is really good, Nikolaevich is needed for history mode and is really good, Sheridan is also needed for history mode and is pretty good. The cavarly aresonal is already full, considering we need like 4 cavalry generals at max for the final missions.

I got dizzy for a few seconds lol At least Nikolaevich costs coins and I can buy them when needed since I have enough medals
